Fantastic site, very friendly and helpful staff, great location. This is the best campsite we have ever been to. No hidden charges to pay e.g showers, cost of the dog to stay, etc. We will definitely be back it is worth the 7 hour drive!

CLEAN LOOS! Very important to a camper & hot water for washing up & washing in. Very friendly, good play park and animal area.

This is our 2nd year here and still just as great. V. friendly staff, great site, all amenties are fantastic. Great location for beech & dog walking. Will continue to recommend to friends & family & will continue to come back each year.

Have been coming to Cornwall for only 2 years now but can't seem to stay away from this wonderful campsite, lovely staff and so peacefull.

My wife had not been camping before - she was not looking forward to it! However, the day after we arrived she was making plans for the next year. She was impressed by the campsite facilities and the owners who run it, and believe me she is not easily impressed. The children cried when we left because they had made great friends with other children who lined up to wave us off. A very happy holiday indeed, we will be back. Thank you!

Even though I stayed at your park for only two nights the whole experience couldn’t have been better very clean and excellent facilities will definitely return for more quality time

This is the most fantastic and awesome site we have been to in our 15 years of Cornish camping. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, this site is a must for anyone with kids and dogs. We will be comng back for ever more.

My wife was very unsure about camping but the site made her mind up for her, great stuff for the kids to do as well they are missing pancake already. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.....

We have just returned home after spending 4 days here, brilliant camp site, we are already planning another holiday at tollgate farm.

Just back from our stay over the August Bank Holiday. Very impressed with the site, very well maintained, nicely arranged and with good facilities and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll be back again to see the pigs!

Cannot fault this campsite - thank you so much for making the holiday the best we've had in Cornwall so far. We had 2 large pitches at the top of the field, looking out to the sand dunes and ocean every morning - what more can you ask for? Cleanest, friendliest, most helpful, doggy-friendly site EVER. About to return for the third year running. A wonderfull site with everything you need and very friendly owners. by far the best place to stay in cornwall in our opinion. the kids love the play area and animal farm, even the dog loved it here.

Just spent another fantastic week (Easter 2007) at our beloved Tollgate. Our 5th visit in 3 years and can't wait to come back in the summer. We came in 2006 as novices in our later years with our whole family. Visiting again in2007 to stay with our family for a long weekend. We have such a good time. The site is wonderful facilities are very good. Grandchildren think it is marvelous.THANKS AGAIN.

Totally amazing. Well worth getting stuck for an hour on the m5!!It was my first trip to Perranporth in 13 years and i didnt want anything to spoil it, and the site made it even better!!!So thank you very very much for the experience

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and all the staff at Tollgate for a very pleasant stay. The facilities were always spotless ( a very big plus for me), the staff always polite and friendly, a lovely bacon butty went down really well after an eight hour night drive. We moved on from you to a more commercial site in Looe. On the first night as the drunks poured out of the bar at midnight making a lot of noise, we realised what a gem Tollgate was, and that by not being commercial you attracted a better kind of camper. My children aged 3 & 5 loved the animals, and the playing field was great for a game of cricket.

My parents and i recently stayed here and really enjoyed it with you for 3 nights. We loved the animals and after touring Cornwall it was nice to come back to such a lovely, quiet atmosphere and enjoy your food at the takeaway bar. We will be back down next year to stay with you again.

May I please pass on a huge thank you for all your familiy/staff who made our recent stay at your farm so enjoyable - we look forward to booking up with you next year (fingers crossed we will have better weather than when we stayed last week).

A belated thank you for a wonderful stay at Tollgate farm. Having spent 18 hrs stuck on the M5 prior to arriving it was great to find the peace and tranquility of your site. Fabulous facilities too especially the playing field where our eight year old son enjoyed the football goal with plenty of space to practice his goal celebrations too. Great beach too close by. My first visit to Cornwall - enjoyed it so much we're booked with you again for next year. We're just booking some better weather please :) Roz, Ian, Charlie (8) and Oliver (3)

What a great place, 1st time camping and would definately go back. Great for dogs, ours was made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. 1st visit to Cornwall and will def be back in the future, will return to Tollgate Farm again and again - thanks guys for a great break! 08/09/07

We stayed at this site between the 1st and 7th of September 2007. Had a really good week. Weather was perfect and if we could guarantee good weather every year in England, we would definately choose here and not bother going abroad. The site was lovely and clean and very spacious. We will definately be returning again next year, either the same week or the week before.

Had a fabulous few days here in August 2007. Wonderful site, really clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, safe play area, my son enjoyed the animal feeding - we'll definitely be coming back!

We have Just got back from our week at Tollgate,31/05/08(all 14 of us, 4 families) weather a bit wet for a couple of days but the owner couldn't do enough to help us. very clean toilets and showers (Yes Free showers!)and great takeaway, Loved the doughballs!, kids all enjoyed the park and feeding the animals. The best value for money i have had in years, we WILL be returning!!

This has been our 3rd year coming to tollgate, can't fault it everyone is so friendly and helpful booked again for 2 weeks in May 2009.

Had a great time on site would recommend for all ages easy access to all destinations both by car and bus, staff very friendly and helpful on all aspects

Very impressed! The location was superb, and the few staff I did come across were 1st class friendly and helpful! Really impressed with the cleanliness of the shower and toilet blocks, and this site comes highly recommended.

Great site we had some shocking weather but the shower block was always clean one of the nicest sites we have stayed on we have booked again and have now started counting down the months till we are back again, one things for sure the weather cant get much worse than last year. see you in August.

I stayed at this site last August with my girlfriend, we had a great time and will book again for next year. The owners and staff were very welcoming and always happy to help. The facilites on site were great and always kept clean and tidy, taking friends back with us next year. Perranporth is a beautiful town with everything you could want. Would definately recommend it.

It was absolutely brilliant, the staff were so friendly and the facilities well above par. Hot showers, nice loos, it was everything we needed! After a whole day of surfing, it was a pleasure to come back to Tollgate.

We would just like to say a big thank you for a pleasant stay at your campsite and will defiantly stay again, although we only stayed for two nights we found the facilities very good couldn't of asked for more. The children really liked the play area and the animals which made it stress free when pitching and taking the tent down.

Fantastic & very warm welcome as always, 5 yrs we have been now and we'll be back again, if not later this year, definately next year. We stayed for 2 weeks in June and it went so quick :( Site is fabulous, warm welcome every time, showers always clean, views fantastic, highly recommend this site and it\'s central if you want to see the rest of Cornwall. Beautiful part of the country and well worth the 10 hr trip :) (July 2009)

Despite the weather, the site was clean, spacious and well equipped, with a friendly welcome. The showers were nice and hot and the location of the site is great. Will stay here again and again.

Just spent 7 days at tollgate and thought it was great.Toilet and showers were great,play area was a bonus and often had to drag our 10 year old in on a night.Owners were really friendly and helpful

We camped here end of July this year and it was fantastic. The owners could not do enough, its a place that is kept up with pride. We loved it so much, we are doing another week at the end of August!

Just returned from another great two weeks at Tolgate Farm Site.3rd Year. Very busy in August but shower block was always spotless what ever time it was used. Play area great for kids and animal feeding also a nice area. Staff always friendly and welcoming.

Brought my family (partner and three boys - 8, 5 and 2) over from Plymouth for their first family-camping experience (four nights in mid August) and they loved it. When I've asked the five-year-old his best memory of the holiday it was "playing in the camp park" - it even beat bodyboarding down at the beach! Friendly atmosphere, helpful owner/staff - a real classic family-run campsite - thank you. Will definitely be back next year

Wow, what a fantastic 2 weeks camping. The site is very clean,friendly, peaceful and nicely laid out. The walks to nearby Perranporth took me back to my childhood days, the dunes are truely a relaxing place to be and the views over looking Perranporth and its beaches are very spectacular - great sunsets too! Thanks for providing a super holiday setting and we hope to be back in 2010

This was my first time camping and what a pleasure it was all the staff were very nice, and a very well maintained and spotless site. Our 3 year old daughter really enjoyed it as well, we will be back again and to top it all we only live 20 mile away.Also great take away lovely food and lovely people

This site was amazing, I have never felt so relaxed with my kids being free to play. The facilaties were fantastic and so clean and tidy. Also due to family crisis they were very understanding and accomodating to our needs at the time. What a great Camp Site, Very Quiet and peaceful, Very Clean throughout from the camping areas to the toilet / shower blocks. Never saw any untidiness. Very friendly and helpful Owners/staff. Great dog walking area where the dogs can roam free over a huge area and it was less then a minute walk from my tent. I would recommend this site to anybody 05/07/10

Libby has not stopped talking about the holiday and also the nice man that gave her wipes and a plaster (even when screaming when he did) when she fell over and cut her leg! This was our first time camping and thanks to the facilities, location and people at Tollgate Farm, it was awesome! We had our reservations - never having camped before. However, the site was perfect! The shower block was great and was fully cleaned every day. There are washing machines and tumble driers which we used since it rained 4 out of the 5 days we were there, and the dish washing facilities were good too. However, the people running the farm, really made the place. They take time to talk and have a laugh with the people staying there, they are more than accommodating, friendly and always approachable. The food was great and overall we had a superb holiday! Thank you to to all at Tollgate Farm. We will definitely be returning soon!

Tollgate farm has got it all worked out, and they make it look easy. Good sized pitches,great shower block and a bus stop at the end of the road for getting into town with surf gear. We'll definiately be back.

Such a lovely site with very clean facilities; we have been down for the last few years and will be back again this year with our new puppy to enjoy the wonderful beach and many beautiful walks on your doorstep.

Stayed there twice with daughter and she stil talks about animal feeding to this day,was quiet but not to far away from beach heading back there in august

We love Tollgate Farm - the children adore the park & the animals and the adults like it because the children can play safely and the facilities are immaculately clean! The family that run the site are very friendly, helpful & have good local knowledge if you need a recommendation for a nice restuarant or the nearest supermarket! We will be back again!

Just arrived back from an amazing weekend at Tollgate farm. We picked this site specifically for the location and dog walking which was right on the door step with miles of open space for two springers to have plenty of fun! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help. Shower & Toilet facilities were beautifully clean and tidy. All in all a great break away and can't wait to go back. Just back from a week at tollgate farm, and we had an amazing time, fantastic location, great pitch size. Baby loved to be able to run around, animals was great for the kids. Absolutely fantastic site loved it so much have booked for 2013,the facilities were immaculate, great for kids adults and the pooch as the walks are great. We have always used Hendra but while we are touring this is now our first choice! 14/08/12

Had a fantastic week, everything was clean and tidy and well kept. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The location is very central for loads of activities, but if you don't feel like travelling the play park and animal farm are on camp. Lovely friendly site. Great facilities for kids with the park and animal area. Dog friendly. Very clean site. Love the herb garden. Good location for the beaches. Was sad to leave. Highly recommended 31/08/12

Just got back from a weeks break at this campsite. Very friendly & helpful staff. Toilet & shower block kept clean & tidy, plenty of hot water. Ideal location for walking, wish we had taken the dogs, will use this site again. 17/09/12

Lovely campsite. Hot spotlessly clean showers. Good size pitches. Fantastic for dog lovers as you can walk for miles with them off the lead over the dunes. Loved our trip and will return. Highly recommend. 08/06/13
